Crown Point Police DARE Golf Outing

The 4th Annual Crown Point Police DARE golf outing will be returning for 2011. The event will take place Sunday, August 28, from 12:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the beautiful White Hawk Country Club, located at 1001 White Hawk Drive. All proceeds of the event are used for the DARE program. DARE teaches over 800 city students annually about the dangers of drugs, bullying and how to make good life choices. They rely solely on donations in order to operate the program.

Tickets are $80 and you get 18 holes of golf, a grilled steak dinner, beverage coupons, goodie bag, and a chance to win over 100 door prizes.

Last year’s event attracted 80 business sponsors and 85 golfers, which helped bring last years donations to a whopping $10,000!
